The event, a showcase of the Tugen community's heritage, is marked by a display of pomp and colour, with both the young and old coming together to witness and celebrate their culture — reviving and preserving it for future generations.
The festival also serves as a vital platform for community members to reconnect with their heritage, learn about forgotten cultural practices and customs.
Entry is completely free — merchandize and donations are simply a way to support the culture out of goodwill.
